Jason Dale Bridgewater

Mr. Jason Dale Bridgewater, age 42, of Riddleton, TN, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, TN. Mr. Bridgewater was born November 19, 1973 in Carthage, TN, the Son of Sammy Moore Bridgewater and Elizabeth Faye Clayton. He married Amanda Comstock on December 23, 1995. Jason graduated from Smith County High School in 1992, and played football for the Owls from the age of 9 until he graduated. He worked for TRW in Lebanon. Jason loved farming and showing Angus Cattle, participating in the local shows and fairs. Above all, Jason loved spending time with his family. Jason was a member of the Peyton’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Bridgewater is survived by his Wife of 20 years; Amanda Comstock Bridgewater of Riddleton, TN. Two Children; Jessica Lea Bridgewater and Austin Dale Bridgewater, both of Riddleton, TN. Father and Mother; Sammy and Faye Bridgewater of Riddleton, TN. Sister; Diann and husband Ronnie Bussell of Hogans Creek, TN. Father and Mother-in-Law; Eddie and Linda Comstock of Defeated, TN. Sisters-in-Law; Daisy and husband David Denton of Rock City, TN, and Melissa and husband Tony Gibbs of South Carthage, TN. Nieces and Nephews; Nicholus and Samantha Bussell; Brenn, Emily, David Dwight, and Deana Denton; and Adam, Ashley, Zach, and Addie Gibbs. Funeral Services for Mr. Bridgewater are scheduled to be conducted from the Carthage Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at 4PM with Eld. Charles Allen Gentry and Bro. Jimmy Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery in Riddleton. Visitation with the Jason’s family will be held at Carthage Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Tuesday from 2PM until 8PM and again on Wednesday from 9AM until service time at 4PM. In lieu of flowers, the Bridgewater Family requests memorials in Jason’s memory be made to College Fund for Jessica and Austin Bridgewater.
