Mr. Carl Edward Williams, Age 69 of South Carthage, TN passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the home of his daughter on the family farm in the Stewarts Bend Community.Mr. Williams was born August 10, 1944 in Bowlings Branch, TN, the son of the late Bryant and Ruby Robinson Williams. He graduated from Gordonsville High School in 1962 and married Joyce Anne Dishman on December 24, 1965. He worked at Moss Service and Supply for 46 years and enjoyed spending time on the farm.Mr. Williams is survived by his Wife; Joyce Anne Williams of South Carthage, TN, Daughter; Carla Ray and Granddaughter, Kendra Nicole Ray both of the Stewarts Bend Community, Two Brothers; Kenneth (Erma) Williams of Hickman, TN and Jessie Dale (Reba) Williams of the Stewarts Bend Community, Sister; Jeanette (Steve) Woods of Carthage, TN.Funeral Services for Mr. Williams are scheduled to be conducted 3 PM , Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. Eld. Ricky Hall will officiate and Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery.Visitation with the Williams family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Thursday from 11 AM to 8 PM and again on Friday after 9 AM until service time at 3 PM.
