Mr. Glynn Doyle Watts, age 74 of Gordonsville passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at his residence . Mr. Watts was born November 20, 1937 in Hickman, TN the son of the late John Jeffery Watts and Lela Pauline Williams. He was also preceded in death by his Grandparents; Chester and Eliza Williams, and Three Siblings; L.B.Watts, Charlene Phillips, and Thurman Farmer. He was marrie to Judith A. Williams. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1955. Doyle worked as a truck driver for Ligon’s Transportation, as a hoist operator at JMZ Zinc Mine in Gordonsville, owner of Gordonsville Hardware Store, Security Guard at Toshiba, Group Leader at Prospect, and in maintenance at the Gordonsville McDonald’s.Doyle is survived by his Wife; Judith Watts of Gordonsville, TN. Six Children; Bruce (Jeannette) Watts of Savannah, GA., Cathy Bane of Buffalo Valley, TN., Mitch Watts of Brush Creek, TN., Tim (Patty) Watts of Tuckers Crossroads, TN., Terry (Patti) Butts of Dixon Springs, TN., and Shelly (Terry) King of Lancaster, TN. Six Siblings; Hazel Severied of Kansas City, MO., Clara Sayers of Pomona, AR., Connie (Thomas) Silcox of Alexandria, TN., Peggy Megrant of Romerville, IL., Gerald Farmer of Orland Park, IL., and Milah Storey of Nashville, TN. Fifteen Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren. Loving and Devoted Aunt; Gladys Nunley of Goodletsville, TN and Devoted long time friend; Harold Maynard of Nashville, TN. One Special Little Friend; Peyton Cook.Funeral Services for Mr. Watts are scheduled for Friday, March 9, 2012 at 7PM at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes with Bishop Alvin Hitchcock officiating. Graveside Services and Interment for Mr. Watts will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11 AM at the Gordonsville Cemetery, with Bro. Claude Henley officiating.Visitation with the Watts Family will be at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Friday from 4 PM until service time at 7 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM until we leave to go to the cemetery at 10:45 for the 11 AM Graveside service.
