Mrs. Nellie Bush White, Age 90 of Brush Creek, TN passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Smith County Healthcare Center in Carthage, TN.Mrs. White was born October 17, 1920 in Maggart, TN the daughter of the late Luke Gilliam and Mary Elizabeth Kent Bush. She married Julius White on December 24, 1940 and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1996. She was also preceded in death by: Two Children; John Lee and Barbara Jean White, Two Brothers; Carl and Thomas Bush, and One Sister; Mamma Bloom. She was a homemaker and was saved and baptized at the Grant Missionary Baptist Church.Mrs. White is survived by Eight Children; Betty Apple of Brush Creek, TN, Carrin Garrett of Lebanon, TN, Paulette (Billy) Blackburn of Grant, TN, Edith Hipps of Old Hickory, TN, J.E. (Betty) White of Club Springs, TN, Dale (Beverly) White of New Middleton, TN, Judith (Bill) Jones of Gallatin, TN, Ray (Sherell) White of Brush Creek, TN. Sister; Frances Myers of New Jersey. Fourteen Grandchildren and Twenty Five Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. White will be conducted 1PM Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. Bro. Matt Long will officiate and Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery.Visitation with the White family will be at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Monday from 4PM to 8PM and on Tuesday after 10AM until service time at 1PM.
